Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team. As the Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing psychiatric nurse practitioners', individual treatment plans, and all psychiatric/medical aspects of the facility.
Duties:
- Provide strategic direction and guidance for the organization's medical programs
- Review and analyze medical charts to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Weekly supervision for onsite prescriber
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical technology, biotechnology, and healthcare practices
Skills:
- Strong background in mental health and substance use disorder
- In-depth knowledge of psychiatric medication protocols
- Proficient understanding of physiology and medical terminology
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
