Norman Regional Health System's Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) staff cares for a wide variety of patients with complex cardiovascular medical conditions requiring intermediate or critical care, as well as post cardiac surgical patients, those transitioning for care post CABG and cardiac catheterization lab interventions. PCCU nurses are intuitive, critical thinkers and highly skilled to rapidly assess a patient's condition and intervene with immediate attention. Common medication drips include Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone. We are a positive and dynamic team that strives to embody our Norman Regional's core values of Integrity, Communication, Attitude, Results, and Engagement to not only provide excellent care to our patients and their families, but to maintain a culture of respect and safety while promoting teamwork as healthcare professionals.
