NONDESTRUCTIVE & VISUAL INSPECTION is Hiring an ASSISTANT NDE TECHNICIAN Near Corpus Christi, TX

NVI, LLC is seeking to hire several highly motivated and career minded nondestructive testing professionals to fill immediate openings to help support a very important project being managed by our Aransas Pass, TX division. The project will support a minimum ten-hour workday, seven days per week. TheAssistant Technicianwill be responsible for the following actions/tasks:

  • Actively assist in radiography and other Nondestructive Testing operations to ensure a quality and safe work product is obtained.
  • Adhere to industrial radiation and general safety procedures set forth by the Company, State and Federal governing bodies.
  • Maintain and control safe work practices necessary by the Company, State and Federal regulations.
  • Effectively meet project schedules outlined by Operations Management.
  • Any other assignment necessary to meet Assistant Radiographer responsibilities set forth by the Company.

Required Qualification(s)

  • 40 Hour Industrial Radiography Certification.
  • High School Diploma, GED, and/or advanced education.
  • Valid State Driver’s License and able to pass a Motor Vehicle History Evaluation.
  • Able to pass FBI background verification in accordance with Company’s Increased Controls program.
  • Required to pass Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing policies/procedures.

Preferred Qualification & Experience

  • State Radiographers Card and/or IRRSP Card.
  • Industrial State Carded Trainer certification.
  • Certification(s) or Documented field hours and classroom education that meets or exceeds SNT-TC-1A certification requirements for methods RT, MT, PT, and UT Certifications.
