THE ROLE

As a Revenue Accountant at Nogin Inc, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that generated revenues are accurately tracked, balanced, and reported. Your responsibilities will include managing financial records, collaborating with clients, and creating monthly revenue statements. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Client Revenue Statements: Prepare and create monthly revenue statements for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Financial Record Management: Maintain excellent financial records, paying close attention to both payable and receivable accounts.
• Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to ensure timely receipt of payments as agreed upon.
• General Ledger Oversight: Inspect revenue-related activities across all departments to maintain proper balance.
• Collaboration with Marketing and Advertising: Partner with marketing and advertising teams to develop effective strategies that boost company sales and patronage.
• Debt Management: Proactively avoid situations that may lead to company debts and promptly collect outstanding debts owed to the company.
• Daily Receipts and Records: Review and record daily receipts, passing them on to appropriate personnel for financial records.
• Accounts Payable Supervision: Ensure error-free records in accounts payable transactions.
• Financial Statement Compilation: Compile and inspect company financial statements at the end of each month, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Contract and Investment Analysis: Analyze contracts and investments, identifying potential financial risks and suggesting mitigation strategies.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain a moderate circulation of funds.

• Experience: Prior experience in revenue accounting or related roles is preferred.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in creating complex spreadsheets, data analysis, and financial modeling.
