Animal Care Supervisors at NOCO Humane are responsible for the daily care of animals in the Shelter (including cats, dogs, small mammals, exotic pets and more). These are full-time working supervisor positions reporting to our Shelter Supervisors. Job location is Loveland, CO.

Essential Duties Include:

*Supervise and train approximately ten Animal Care staff members in the care, feeding and habitat cleaning of shelter animals.

*Ensure animal care policies, procedures and protocols for disease control and safety are met.

*Supervise assigned volunteers including community service volunteers.

*End of life services for animals.

*Participate in Shelter Team, Shelter Supervisor and Supervisor/Manager meetings

* Set schedules, review workflow and suggest and implement improvements.

*Significant amount of animal interaction and handling required.

Requirements and Pluses:

*Supervisory experience and skills.

*Solid emotional intelligence, work ethics and integrity skills.

*Minimum of Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience, one year of proven staff supervisory experience or NOCO Humane lead experience.

Regular schedules are five days a week, including a weekend day. Overtime and holiday work will be required as needed. Must be able to work a flexible and changing schedule and model expected behavior.
