Noblis is Hiring a Remote FedRAMP Intern

Responsibilities

Noblis is looking for an intern to support day-to-day functions in support of the FedRAMP Authorization Package Review Team. The intern may be involved in:
  • supporting project management functions and metrics analysis
  • coordinating and facilitating meetings
  • performing knowledge capture during meetings
  • reporting actions and notes
  • corresponding and interfacing with stakeholders
  • updating templates and process documents
The Intern can expect to grow professional and technical skill through interactions with team members and stakeholders, applying college skillset, and conducting on-the-job research in technical security related areas. In particular, the intern will learn about working in a Federal Government environment and cyber security, as well as how to work with a variety of stakeholders (cloud service providers, third party assessors, and federal agencies). 

Responsible for developing and applying basic skills in areas of specialization with clear direction from your supervisor. Responsibilities and individual tasks are generally fundamental, routine in nature, and require minimal problem solving. Ask clarifying questions, refer more complex issues to higher levels and follow direction and guidance from others. Begin to understand how to apply strengths, know when to ask for help and know how you contribute to corporate success. With a service excellence mindset, begin to build a relationship with your manager, the organization you support, and internal/external business contacts. Follow Noblis’ policies and procedures. Ensure that all work products follow Noblis’ policies and procedures and operate at a level of quality that positively affects the Noblis brand.

Required Qualifications

What We Need From You: 

  • A GPA of 3.3 or higher
  • U.S. Citizenship, and the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
  • Be a rising undergraduate junior, senior or current Masters student, with a focus on relevant topics areas (e.g., information technology, information security, cyber security, risk managment)
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Strong Communications skill
  • Have an awareness, understanding, and working knowledge with some of the tools/technologies/libraries, and have a willingness to learn

Desired Qualifications

Preferred:

An interest or skill in any of the following:

  • Federal Consulting
  • FISMA/NIST
  • Cloud system architecture
  • Cyber security
  • Agile and Lean project management
  • Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

Posted Salary Range

USD $22.00 - USD $36.00 /Hr.
