Noblis is Hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst Near Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities

Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions’ to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. We are looking to hire a Cybersecurity / Computer Systems Analystto provide support to our Programs for the US Navy. 

The Cybersecurity / Computer Systems Analyst will provide techncial support for the tracking and analysis of a Navy Program's Risk Management Framework (RMF) portfolio for afloat systems, provide Cyber Fusion Resource and Response Center (CFRRC) activities for cyber events and incident handling, as well as Red Team Assessment support. The candidate's responsibilities will include:

  • Working independently and as part of a team to apply expertise in Cybersecurity to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of afloat systems. Develop procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, network and data.
  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks and protection needs.
  • Interpret and implement local information security and higher-level policies and procedures to ensure networks and information systems are reliable, accessible and protected against unauthorized access.
  • Make recommendations for new or revised security measures and countermeasures.
  • Perform audits and assess security events to determine impact and corrective action.
  • Cyber Fusion Resource and Response Center (CFRRC) Support including coordination, detecting and reporting suspicious and anomalous events, analyzing cyber forensics data, and execution of incident response plans.
  • Support Red Team activities such as cyber risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, exploitation discovery and defense, and red team evaluations.
  • Enter policy-based test results in eMASS, generating draft Cybersecurity policies and procedures for cyber lead review/approval, generating RMF request documents including Assess Only (AO) Requests, Authorization Boundaries, Hardware/Software lists, updating documentation to facilitate RMF package consolidation.
  • Provide Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and McAfee scanning for system components, laptops, and software delivery media.

Qualifications

Associate's level degree or higher in a technical field from an accredited college or university. Bachelors degree preferred.

Eight (8) years or more of professional experience in computer systems analysis and cybersecurity.

One of the following certifications: Security , Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), or GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC)

Prior experience with DoD/Navy Risk Management Framework (RMF).

DoD Secret Clearance, or ability to obtain one is required.
