Noble Services Company LLC is Hiring a Remote Curriculum Development Lead

Lead the development of curricula and courses focused on employee KSAs (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) development, with global responsibility for Noble in-house curriculum, course quality assurance, auditing, training, and reporting. Work closely with department representatives to understand operational needs, challenges, and to increase the effectiveness of training initiatives and offerings. Serve as brand ambassador for the Learning and Development department and ensure sound instructional design principles are used in the development of all training initiatives. Owns e-learning framework, content, and development. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in management, Education, HR or OD, or equivalent professional experience Demonstrated leadership success in learning program development in an industrial environment Demonstrated mastery of instructional design and adult learning principles Experience developing and delivering training solutions that accommodate multiple learning styles Strong project and program management skills Strong communication skills (written & verbal), to work effectively with outside vendors and management teams Collaborative style with a decisive, results-oriented approach Sound business acumen with corresponding analytical and judgment skills Adaptable and innovative in the design and execution of learning and development programs, processes, and safety-driven solutions The ability to develop relationships and partnerships (internal and external), exhibit strong customer focus and be able to coach teams that may come from internal staff resources, line management or outside sources Strong meeting design and facilitation skills Impeccable integrity, high work standards and strong problem-solving skills A positive “can do” attitude which relentlessly supports improvement for the company ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for using their team, contractors, and other functions to develop relevant and valuable curricula and courses. Overall responsible for aligning individual function strategy and curricula to L&D’s vision Responsible for developing and optimizing curriculum development strategies for both corporate and remote global locations (offshore / satellite offices) Overall responsible for companywide e-learning selection, development, and delivery within LMS Coordinate with managers and program leads to ensure effective employee development worldwide Interface with vendors to ensure they use proper design/development techniques. Coordinate with department heads/stakeholders to ensure their aims align with Noble curricula and content Manage and direct all curriculum development team members Assist with LMS configuration and management, driving business requirements and needs. Keep abreast of current, leading-edge instructional design and development theory and processes Participate in national and international instructional design and development organizations Serve as an ambassador for Noble L&D curriculum and integration efforts with industry organizations Leverage the Communications team to maintain consistent and standardized content design for look and feel for all curricula and course content. Ensure IT systems are sufficient to successfully deliver e-learning curricula and content Apply proven design, evaluation and continuous improvement methodologies to all curricula Plan and execute rollouts of curricula and content elements and upgrades worldwide Utilize consistent, effective communication and training strategies, including written, face-to-face, virtual reality, and e-learning based modes Manage consistent, sustainable curriculum and content quality assurance/audit process Build and maintain “trusted advisor” relationships with key operational and management stakeholders. Coordinate efforts of learning programs with other L&D and Noble initiatives Travel as necessary, estimate 10% Management Relations The position collaborates heavily with Operations, HR, Communications, and HSE to ensure strong integration and alignment of all systems, processes and outcomes. Collaborates with and supports other functional groups to deliver fit-for-purpose learning programs Administrative Maintain e-learning project and program files Maintain the databases and statistical information where necessary Maintain files on on-going programs and projects Provide inputs to budgeting for program and project costs Conduct correspondence as necessary to conduct department business Assist other department personnel as needed Interface with all departments and divisions in the performance of job functions Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY Direct: Curriculum Development team members Indirect: None Noble Corporation is a leading offshore drilling contractor for the oil and gas industry.
