Role - Front End Developer with .NET and WCAG

Job Description :

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 4 years of software engineering experience in designing and developing software in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML / CSS, git source control, Screen Reader tools, such as JAWS and NVDA.
• Demonstrated ability and experience in the entire service development life cycle: design, implementation, deployment, and live site support for an enterprise application.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Candidate must be willing to work in PST hours with some overlap working hours with teams in India.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Work hours aligned with Redmond time zone (required for collaborating with engineers who are mostly in Redmond).
• Solid technical aptitude and a passion for quality, strong debugging skills, experience designing and implementing web components.
• Experience with implementing Web Accessibility standards, WCAG 2.0 , a11y testing.
• Familiarity with Screen Reader tools, such as JAWS and NVDA.
• Familiarity with templated JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, etc.)
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar work item tracking.
• Strong programming skills with several languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML / CSS, git source control 
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Great curiosity and willingness to question, undaunted by hard technical problems
• Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
