Job Role: Mortgage Product Owner

Job Location: Dallas, TX

Job Type: Contract

Mandatory exp: Mortgage Loan Servicing, Mortgage Default management and Foreclosures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas Texas location or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
• 5 years of experience in LOS system development and knowledge of writing business rules in LOS environment
• A minimum of 5 years experience in Encompass/Loan Origination Systems
• At least 8 years of recent experience in area of Mortgage Loan Servicing, Mortgage Default management and Foreclosures.

Preferred Qualifications and Job Functions

• At least 8 years of experience as Product owner in defining the requirements around Minimal Viable Product to achieve program objectives
• Determines and articulates Minimum Viable Product; that is, identifies those portions of an overall vision that are minimally necessary to achieve company objectives.
• Collaborates with other Product Owners to manage inter-team dependencies.
• Contribute to the evaluation, design, development, testing, and implementation of products.
• Assist the team in ensuring product strategy is in alignment with business objectives.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize initiatives, collaboration between teams and drive initiatives to completion through accountability.
• Creates, maintains, and prioritizes Agile team s backlog by assessing business and customer value.
• Collaborates with other teams to manage inter-team dependencies.
• Focuses on outcomes and sets clear success criteria.
• Collaborates with wider team on project milestones and provides organizational management and stakeholder with relevant updates.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and principles.
• Analytical, Communication skills, Planning and Co-ordination skills

Experience and desire to work in a consulting environment that requires travel.
