The individual works under the supervision of the QA Manager where they conduct production-related quality tests, perform inspection checks, calibrate equipment, have full responsibility for label control, and communicate test results. This is a production-based job with only 5-10% of time spent in the office/computer work. EDUCATION REQUIRED:
2-year associate degree in Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology or other relevant science concentration or equivalent experience.
TRAINING AND SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Working knowledge of GMP and HACCP systems.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to draft clear and detailed work instructions, documentation, and reports.
Excellent attention to detail and good documentation skills/practices.
The ability to handle multiple priorities requires with high degree of accuracy.
TRAINING AND SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Available to work occasional overtime when required.
Available to work Saturdays or Sundays.
Production Support:
Performs packaging inspections to ensure the accuracy of labels, proper bag sealing, and palletizing operations.
Maintains label control integrity.
Performs quality or process control-related projects.
Performs quality monitoring of various processes.
Performs shipping inspections/verifications.
Performs training and updates work instructions.
Effectively works and communicates with other members of the Quality and Operations teams.
Advises on procedures to improve production efficiencies.
