NittaGelatin is Hiring a Parts Clerk (FT) Near Fayetteville, NC

Parts Clerk:
Receive, count, and inspect equipment materials to ensure accurate quantity and quality. Store and issue a variety of equipment parts; process requests for parts room items via computer. Make periodic inventory counts of parts room items to ensure proper identification and re-supply needs. Prepare reorder requests. Maintain inventory records, and dispensing the parts and materials to other workers in the company. The Parts Clerk must transact materials into the company database when receiving parts into the company. Parts clerks also record materials and parts out of the system when they are transferred to a production area.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop BOMs starting with critical equipment and enter into our CMMS platform
  • Communicate with OEM or peruse technical manuals in developing recommended spare parts for critical equipment
  • Analyze and resolve all parts issues and monitor all requests for same from all branch locations.
  • Monitor and correct invoices if required and prepare all papers for delivery.
  • Administer and maintain stock of all parts and tools and evaluate all work order and maintain information on all ledger codes.
  • Maintain inventory of all stock delivered items and prepare appropriate purchase orders as per requirement and remove all obsolete supplies from inventory.
  • Administer and maintain parts inventory for assigned locations and notify inventory specialist when minimum levels have been met for reorder.
  • Manage all warranty part return from customer and processes all receipts and invoices received from suppliers.
  • Maintain neat and clean parts room at all times and recommend ways to improve efficiency and reduce downtime and provide optimal level of customer services.
  • Greet all customers and vendors on telephone pleasantly and prepare schedule for preventative maintenance to customers.
  • Manage all parcel shipments and deliver to owner on everyday basis.
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory records for all parts in stock, ensuring that the stock level does not fall below minimum levels
  • Maintaining a computer database of all part numbers and identifying information such as manufacturer details, part functionality, and model numbers
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding order status, delivery times, and shipping information
  • Processing returns of defective parts, arranging replacements, and crediting customers’ accounts
  • Processing invoices for payment, including requesting approval from supervisors when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
