Job Overview: We are seeking a Fryer to join our team at a restaurant. As a Fryer, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fried foods. This is an important role in our culinary team, ensuring that our customers receive delicious and perfectly cooked dishes. Duties: - Operate and maintain fryers and other cooking equipment - Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods, such as french fries, chicken wings, and onion rings - Monitor the temperature and quality of the frying oil - Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in food preparation - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the fryer area - Assist with other food preparation tasks as needed Skills: - Previous experience working in a restaurant or culinary environment - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating cooking times - Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures - Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Strong attention to detail to ensure food is cooked to perfection - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards - Knowledge of sanitization practices to maintain cleanliness in the fryer area - Culinary training or experience is a plus - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus If you are passionate about food, have experience working in a restaurant, and enjoy working as part of a team, we would love to hear from you.
