Responsibilities:
- Operate fryers and ensure they are properly maintained and cleaned
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked to perfection
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in the kitchen
- Assist with menu planning and suggest new ideas for fried food items
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Maintain inventory of supplies and notify management when items need to be replenished
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
