Ninja Nation Austin – Assistant Arena Manager

Position Description: Rare opportunity to join Ninja Nation Austin in a management position. This role is an assistant manager spot in our Ninja Obstacle Course Arena. Ninja Nation Austin is a rapidly-growing American Ninja Warrior-style specialty fitness company and we are looking for an Assistant Arena Manager for our north austin gym.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Engage with leadership to drive the growth of the business.
  • Direct and coordinate outbound sales activities on such things as birthday parties, corporate team building and special events.
  • Maintain client relationships (must be comfortable on phone and demonstrate email writing abilities)
  • Assist with Using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales
  • Using G suite items (docs, sheets, google drive, folders) for tracking
  • Working alongside general manager and owners in developing and maintaining social media and customer outreach strategies
  • Assist with oversight of the operations of our open gym sessions, birthday party celebrations, and development program offering.
  • Engaging with the surrounding community to drive the growth of the business by prospecting with schools, home-schooled groups, special needs programs, field trips, and other corporate groups.
  • Oversight of birthday party booking process, confirmations and day of birthday party execution
  • Recruiting, training and leading a team of awesome, high-energy employees.
  • Managing and/or perform communications, contracts, receipts and scheduling
  • All the aspects of keeping a facility clean, maintained, and fresh experience

Key Attributes of Desired Candidate:

  • Extroverted, high-energy
  • Enjoys working around kids and teens
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends
  • 2 years professional experience
  • Must be flexible with company growth
  • Proven leadership capabilities in gym and/or activity center environment
  • Comfortable using Mac and PC hardware

Must Have:

  • 1-3 years of phone outreach sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
  • Advanced time management skills
  • Intermediate Social Media Management skills (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Experience using G Suite (Google drive, docs, sheets, calendar)

Compensation:

Hourly pay-rate plus commission

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $20 per hour commissions

Schedule: (Flexible)

  • 8 hour shift
  • Typically four weekday and 1 weekend

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus opportunities
