Position Summary:

Highly motivated and driving to control flow of parts in and out of Des Moines Branch. Employee must have strong work ethic, communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills, confident and must be driven to succeed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers through answering phone, research of parts and processing orders
  • Responsible for quoting all research and accurate pricing of parts
  • Responsible for researching, locating and ordering parts to ensure correct parts will be delivered in a timely manner to complete the job
  • Building and maintaining parts inventory as it pertains to stock, quantity and location
  • Responsible for shipping and receiving of all parts
  • Responsible for stock and pulling parts
  • Enter receiving parts into inventory on the computer
  • Accurately record purchase orders
  • Match and file invoices and purchase orders
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space and parts room
  • Manage inventory on shop parts and service vehicle parts
  • Open and close IRO’s in the computer
  • Maintain regular communication with the Shop Foreman and all team members
  • Be familiar with top industry brands: CAT, CASE, Bobcat, Takeuchi, John Deere, Mustang, Ingersoll Rand, GEHL, Link Belt, Bomag, etc

Qualifications:

  • Minimum high school/GED education and prefer 3 years of experience in construction industry
  • Must be flexible and highly organized with the ability to work independently
  • Must be honest, respectful and trustworthy and demonstrate sound work ethics
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to learn
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Exhibit a cheerful presence and teamwork skills
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Accurate and detailed oriented
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Must be able to pass background check at time of hire

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
