So, what's the role all about?
NICE Customer Engagement Analytics is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team. You will play a vital role in enhancing our contact center solutions through the development of advanced NLP algorithms and models. You will work in a collaborative team environment to explore and create solutions to industry problems using machine learning and state-of-the-art large language models. You bring to this team environment several years' experience in deep learning using the latest in transformer-based NLP architectures, as well as the curiosity and grit to see a project to delivery.
How will you make an impact?

• Conducting cutting-edge research and develop advanced NLP algorithms and models
• Building and fine-tuning deep learning and machine learning models, with an emphasis on large language models
• Communicating research findings, technical concepts, and model recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to ensure model effectiveness and alignment with business objectives
• Staying abreast of the latest advancements in NLP research and contribute to the development of our knowledge base

Have you got what it takes?

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree
• 3 years of experience working with deep learning models using real-life data
• Proficiency in Python programming and one or more deep learning libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, etc.)
• Research skills, with a proven track record of developing and implementing NLP algorithms

You will have an advantage if you also have:

• Experience deploying NLP models in production environments, ensuring scalability and performance
• Published research papers in the field of NLP or related areas
• Experience working on international, globe-spanning teams
• Experience with large language models
