Location: NHE Corporate Office - Greenville, SC

SummaryUnder regular supervision of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Recruiter will help develop and carry out various recruiting strategies to ensure an ongoing supply of qualified applicants and candidates for company positions.

I. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct business with the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Build relationships and work with hiring managers do determine staffing needs.
  • Handle job requisitions and post jobs to HRIS system and applicable job boards.
  • Assist hiring managers in filtering through job postings to narrow down qualified applicants.
  • Assist with initial phone screening of applicants and schedule follow-up interviews with hiring managers as needed.
  • Assist with extending job offers to candidates once approval has been given by senior management.
  • Assist with the administration and coordination of required pre-employment testing, including background checks / reference checks / drug / alcohol screenings.
  • Assist in development and implementation of strategy for recruiting sources to include job fairs, social networks, in person networking events, or other.
  • Assist with the onboarding process and sending onboarding packets to candidates who have successfully met the company s hiring criteria.
  • Assist in recruiting for internships including scheduling, interviewing, and administration.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR ?les and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and ?led appropriately.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department and/or other departments as needed.
  • Assist in conducting new hire orientations.
  • Assist in administration of internal employee training platform (Grace Hill) to help ensure compliance.
  • Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of the Annual Employee Conference.
  • Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.
  • May require travel to properties, job related employee activities and recruiting events.
  • Handles special projects as needed.

IV. EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCEBachelor s Degree in Business or related social science, or Associates degree in related field; six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

V. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSIn addition to the essential duties and responsibilities noted above, the following skills and abilities are required.

  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing - - ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers, in handling inquiries and communicating information.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, and related program software.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks according to schedules and deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented work environment - - flexibility and multi-tasking are a must in managing workload.
  • Proficiency with maintaining accurate records and reports - - attention to detail is critical.

Previous experience in a recruiting or staffing setting is helpful. The ability to maintain confidentiality is critical. One must be an experienced administrative professional who is dependable and highly organized with business maturity, discretion, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter who can work independently and follow directions with sound judgment. Proficient reading and math skills are a must.

The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

VIII. WORKING SCHEDULEMonday Friday 8 AM 5 PM (one-hour for lunch)
