NFI US is Hiring a Manager of Sales and Account Management SAM Support Near CAMDEN, NJ

Leading a team of 2 - 4 Sales and Account Management (SAM) Support Specialists and providing leadership and oversight of all SAM Support functions, the Manager of SAM Support works as an integral part of the SAM Team as they continue to expand NFI’s presence in the marketplace. Duties include management, leadership, and oversight of the SAM Support team; coordinating RFP / RFI responses; development of internally and externally facing presentations; collateral, information input and management; product training or other related tasks; providing executive support to SAM leadership.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Management and Leadership

  • The Manager of SAM Support will be responsible for hiring and training new SAM support staff (with input from SAM leadership), and providing direct supervision and development of the SAM Support team
  • Provides oversight of SAM Support team workflow balance, delegating work as appropriate for skill level and bandwidth, and responsible for quality of team output
  • Collaborates with SAM leadership to ensure seamless delivery of RFP/RFI/RFQ responses to prospective and current customers through process-driven approach
  • Leads efforts related to adoption and optimization of technology enablement platforms (e.g. Responsive , Kapta, Salesforce)
  • Works with external teams on collaboration/new initiatives (e.g. marketing, CRM)
  • Supports the administrative onboarding of new SAM Team members

Sales Support

  • Oversee the preparation, development and transmittal of RFI/RFP/RFQ responses; maintain interactive library of responses
  • Create presentations including customer business reviews, capabilities overviews, facility tour presentations, and bid responses
  • In collaboration with the NFI marketing team, maintain a current inventory of marketing collateral including capabilities presentations, brochures, business line data sheets, facility profiles, etc.
  • As needed on a project basis, develop prospect lists and perform preliminary research utilizing on-line resource tools (e.g. ZoomInfo)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience sales team support or equivalent
  • Familiar with the 3rd Party Logistics and supply chain solutions industry, including distribution, transportation, integrated logistics
  • Resourceful with a demonstrated sense of urgency 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; top level grammar, spelling and proofreading required
  • Able to multitask under pressure while maintaining a high level of quality
  • Natural orientation toward teamwork; able to thrive in a collaborative work environment
  • Able to work independently and proactively, with minimal supervision
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft 365 applications, Google Workspace, and customer relationship management software (CRM)
  • Confidence to problem solve and make appropriate decisions when needed
  • Strategic approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
