Neyer Properties is Hiring a Development Co-op Near Cincinnati, OH
General Description:
The Development Co-op will assist the Development Department in the evaluation, vision setting, entitlements, design/engineering and/or construction of development and redevelopment projects. This position will gain experience in the industrial, commercial and residential real estate development/redevelopment process and how to create value throughout every step in the process.
Reporting Relationship:
The Development Co-Op directly reports to the Development Project Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
The Development Co-op will assist the Development Department in the evaluation, vision setting, entitlements, design/engineering and/or construction of development and redevelopment projects. This position will gain experience in the industrial, commercial and residential real estate development/redevelopment process and how to create value throughout every step in the process.
Reporting Relationship:
The Development Co-Op directly reports to the Development Project Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily activities of planning, implementing, and executing the acquisition and development of Neyer Properties’ development and redevelopment projects.
- Assist in the daily activities of the design and construction of Neyer Properties’ building projects, capital and tenant improvements including site visits.
- Assist with research, due diligence, entitlements and site planning in coordination with acquisitions, development and leasing teams.
- Help plan and manage site infrastructure, project budgeting and schedules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Attributes:
- Studying real estate, construction, or related field
- Possess organizational and writing skills with attention to detail
- Technologically savvy; Bluebeam, GIS and related real estate software experience helpful
- Persistent, tactful, and enthusiastic; Works well with all types and levels of people
- Communication, social, and relationship skills
- Multi-tasker strongly preferred
- Passion to learn about Real Estate
Additional Information:
This co-op position is paid, full-time, and will be for the Summer 2024 Semester.
