Part-time Staff Pharmacist!

Work Schedule: 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM 

Monday to Friday and every other Saturday

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs the duties of a pharmacist working in a Long Term-care pharmacy in compliance with policy and state/federal regulations.
• Works with supervisory staff to continually develop and implement ideas for delivering high quality, cost effective services.
• Works independently; demonstrates leadership in the practice of pharmacy.
• Strong attention to detail, and ability to maintain attention to detail in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to adapt and produce results in a fast growing company.
• Supervises pharmacy support personnel, which includes activities performed, work allocation between staff, and work performance (quality and quantity of work).
• Delegates aspects of the practice of pharmacy to a pharmacy intern or pharmacy technician within the parameters of their job description.
• Implements policy and regulatory required record systems and processes for the pharmacy.
• Be available for on-call services if required.
• Other tasks as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

• 2 years as a licensed pharmacist in the state of California in a retail or Long-term care setting is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License in CA is required.
• Work in a team environment. We are looking for an experienced and motivated pharmacist who is determined to improve care for our patients by offering services not found at our competitors.
• Ability to commute or relocate to Oakland, CA.
• Authorized to work in the US.
