Boulon Brasserie is currently hiring a PASTRY COOK to join our team.
Boulon Brasserie, located in downtown Tampa, has three distinct dining experiences; restaurant, bar, and café. It’s menu highlights locally sourced ingredients, fresh caught seafood and a modern interpretation of classic French pastries.
Job Summary
The Pastry Cook is responsible for daily production of all baked and pastry preparations. Will work the line to help execute the desserts.
Qualifications and Requirements
1-2 years of experience as a Pastry Cook.
A degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry & Baking preferred.
Strong communication skills. Written and verbal (1:1 and in a group setting).
Able to understand, speak and follow written and verbal instruction in English
The ability to stay positive and calm under pressure.
A strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow.
Must be able to obtain food safety certifications
Must have full availability, including days, nights and weekends.
Physical Requirements
Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
Must have the ability to lift, push, pull approximately 50lbs.
Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours during a single shift, while possibly navigating ramps, stairs, and elevators.
