Come work with a close-knit, small group of pediatric speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists at an up-and-coming pediatric private practice clinic in Greenville, NC! Next Level Advanced Therapy is owned and operated by a speech-language pathologist who is not only passionate about providing the best possible, highest-quality therapy to children and their families, but also passionate about fostering relationships with employees that lets them know they are extremely valued and vital to our company.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative assistant to join our team. This is a part-time position with potential to grow to full-time if needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, extremely strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask effectively, and adequate technological skills for computer and phone operation to complete job duties. As an administrative assistant, you will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
Duties:
- Manage staff calendars/schedules, including scheduling appointments
- Assist with organizing and maintaining files and records
- Handle incoming calls and emails, responding to inquiries or redirecting as necessary
- Provide customer support and assist with resolving any issues or concerns
- Billing
- Collection of payment following client appointments
- Benefit verification with insurance companies
- Insurance authorization requests
Qualifications:
- Experience in an administrative role or similar position
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using computers (downloading, uploading, saving files, e-fax, managing electronic calendars and appointments, scanning, printing, etc.)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
- Familiarity with medical office procedures is a plus
