Senior Director - Facilities Operations
The Senior Director oversees multiple sites, enterprise-wide processes and systems necessary to efficiently and effectively manage team and other resources to maintain and operate the environment of care, equipment and grounds. Responsible for providing leadership in the absence of the Vice President. Directs the activities of the Managers or equivalent staff. Manages and prepares regular reports on: Asset Conditions, Preventive Maintenance Systems and processes, Reactive Maintenance performance and causes, Consumable Inventory, Client Satisfaction and Service Delivery performance. Serves as the primary Facilities Operations representative on the sites’ COO management team. Develops, oversees and maintains communication channels for Site Managers and Supervisors to regularly inform administrative and clinical leadership/staff regarding preventive maintenance schedules, repairs, shutdowns, and other engineering activities that affect Hospital operations. Supports multiple campuses in the design, development and execution of strategies and processes. This includes but is not limited to making recommendations for site specific and/or enterprise changes to existing processes or the implementation of new processes, solving complex operational problems as well as making recommendations for strategies to address enterprise-wide operational challenges. Directs Facilities Operations team recruitment, retention, evaluation, and succession planning activities at the sites. Ensures alignment within and across teams. Works with other Operational Directors to ensure that enterprise-wide Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Asset Condition Databases are effectively implemented and utilized. Responsible for ensuring that all site physical plant structures and MEP systems comply with regulatory compliance requirements (Joint Commission, CMS, etc.). Responsible for the coordination and collaboration with various internal stakeholders including Environment of Care Compliance, Regulatory Planning and Quality and Patient Safety and Infection Control, EH&S, and Facilities Design & Construction to ensure the built environment maintains a constant state of regulatory compliance and readiness. Develops and recommends changes in departmental policies, procedures and programs to ensure operational effectiveness. Works to ensure all align, as appropriate, across the assigned areas allowing for seamless operations and the ability to move leadership team members as needed to various campuses.
This is a full time position with oversite of multiple sites within the New York Presbyterian Enterprise.

Salary Range:
