COMPENSATION : $21.00 / hourly, plus overtime

Available Shift : Monday - Friday 6 : 00 am - 6 : 00 pm and weekends as required

IndustrialMaintenance Assistant Job Responsibilities :

• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
• Dismantles machinery and removes / replaces defective parts.
• Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
• Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
• Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Required

• A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Experience and ability to use common hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, saws, drills, wrenches, and hammers.
• Clean valid drivers license.
• Certificate in trade skills related to HVAC, electricity, industrial repairs, etc.
• Must have basic computer and typing skills.
• Must have excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to meet and deal effectively with the vendors, contractors, and the general public.
• Strong time management and organizational skills. Must be able to prioritize and detail oriented.
• Must have the ability to think logically, follow procedures, instructions and make sound decisions.
• Must be able to work (flexible hours) long hours including nights, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card within 30 days of employment.
