Maintenance Job Description

Location: SpringHill Suites Prince Frederick, 75 Sherry Lane, Prince Frederick, MD, 20678

The Maintenance position is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of the hotel's facilities and equipment. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing and electrical systems, painting, and cleaning. The Maintenance person will also be responsible for responding to guest requests for repairs or maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing and electrical systems, painting, and cleaning
• Respond to guest requests for repairs or maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain and repair hotel equipment, such as HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and laundry equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on hotel facilities and equipment
• Ensure that all maintenance work is completed safely and in compliance with local and state regulations
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance work performed
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in maintenance or a related field preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
