Exciting Opportunity : Production Operator
About the Role :
As a Production Operator, you'll be at the heart of our fast-paced operation, working with a variety of semi-automated and automated machinery to prepare products for shipment domestically and internationally.
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you'll follow instructions from supervisors and team leads, contributing to the execution of specific procedures that have far-reaching effects on overall accuracy and reliability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Proactively detect and report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Operate machinery and equipment, starting, observing, and reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Clear conveyor jams efficiently to maintain smooth workflow.
- Conduct quality checks by scanning pallets and taking samples for inspection.
- Load, unload, and tend equipment for packaging functions, making minor adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Inspect filled containers to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Pack containers into cases / cartons, seal them, and ensure proper labeling and date stamping.
- Maintain auxiliary equipment readiness and ensure production materials are correctly labeled.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Education and Experience Requirements :
1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
Other Requirements :
- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
