NEW YORK BLOOD CENTER INC is Hiring a Senior Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis Near New York, NY

Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst of Financial Planning & Analysis is a business finance partner supporting financial strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and expense management activities and driving best in class methodologies and processes across the organization.

  • Hands-on support of corporate financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes.
  • Hands-on development, implementation, and maintenance of forecasting models and reports to further enhance business insights. Must pay attention to details.
  • Hands-on support of the annual budget process for the organization. Monitor ongoing results against the budget and identify ongoing risks and opportunities.
  • Hands-on support of the annual CAPEX budget process for the organization. Track progress against budget throughout the year and meet quarterly with stakeholders to assess timing and cash flow of future projects. Implement an application-based capital request and tracking process.
  • Ensure all month-end reporting is distributed to all internal and external stakeholders. Lead the continued development, execution, and automation of standardized reporting.
  • Partner with the accounting team on the month-end close process and ensure a thorough understanding of the general ledger. Effectively communicate variance drivers in the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field from a highly ranked university; MBA preferred.

Experience:

5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, including revenue and expense budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of current trends in FP&A including financial modeling and reporting, business case development, and processes including close, forecast, budget, and long-range planning.
  • Must have working knowledge of TM1 or be ready to learn quickly.
  • Development of executive presentations to clearly and succinctly articulate key business drivers of financial outcomes and results.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • Must have working knowledge of GAAP.

For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed annual salary is $83,000.00p/yr to $95,000.00p/yr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.

Unless otherwise specified, all posted opportunities are located in the New York or Greater Tri-State office locations.
