New School for Child Development is Hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Near Sherman Oaks, CA

The Help Group is currently seeking a full-time California licensed Speech and Language Pathologists or Clinical Fellow. With our multidisciplinary team approach, you will have the opportunity to work with other therapists, counselors, teachers, occupational therapists and other therapeutic support staff in individual and small group interventions. The agency is dedicated to professional development and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Salary: 69,000.00 - 83,000.00 SLP T1

79,000.00 - 93,000.00 SLP T2

EXCITING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide speech and language services to clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Provide individual or group services.
  • Prepare appropriate documentation related to present levels and goals and present information at IEP meetings.
  • Coordinate with your multidisciplinary team to ensure LAS activities and progress on goals are carried over and sustained in the classroom.
  • Provide parents with regular updates on student progress and recommendations for support they can provide at home.
  • Meet expected productivity levels as determined by the Director of Related Services.
  • Comply with applicable professional licensing or certification requirements and ethical standards.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE, WHO:

  • Has Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Is Licensed from the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Examining Committee and from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
  • Clinical Fellows in Speech-Language Pathology or Speech and Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are also eligible for this position.
