The Help Group is currently looking for a bright, dynamic, bilingual In-Home Therapist for our Project SAFE team.. This unique child-abuse prevention program serves DCFS-referred families with children ages 0-5 and parents with infants under 6 months dealing with substance abuse, domestic violence, at-risk families from the community that are in need of family strengthening.

What you will be working on: 

• Providing field/home-based services including, but not limited to: counseling, case coordination, psychoeducation, parent training, parent/child interaction activities, and family advocacy.
• Providing specialized supports, including developmental screenings, mental health screening, infant massage, and parenting assessments
• Providing support groups and parent classes on an as-needed basis 
• This position does NOT entail DMH documentation
• Training and weekly supervision provided

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

•  MSW or MFT Intern, registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences, with at least one year experience working with children, adolescents and families. 
• Familiarity with principles of family-centered, strengths-based services
• Ability to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to provide home-based and field-based services
• Knowledge of the local community and working with diverse populations highly desirable
• Valid CA Driver License and clean driving record, acceptable to Agency’s insurance carrier

Salary range $58,207.00 - $68,623.00
