New Life Dream Academy is looking for one assistant teacher to join our 7 person strong team. We are located on 360 Martin Luther King Dr. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable.

Responsibilities

*Assist lead teacher in providing care and support to toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting. *Implement curriculum and activities that promote the development of social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. *Support children with special needs, including those with autism or other behavioral challenges. *Assist with behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. *Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment. *Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to ensure effective communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

*High school diploma or equivalent. *Previous experience working with toddlers or in a childcare setting is preferred. *Knowledge of curriculum development and age-appropriate activities. *Familiarity with autism and experience working with children with special needs is a plus. *Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. *Patience, empathy, and the ability to work well with young children. *Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $15.00 - $16.00/hour.
