Teachers Assistant
Our Teachers Assistants bring warmth, patience, and understanding to the classroom every day, encouraging students to learn and grow. They inspire our students to be lifelong learners by assisting the classroom teacher and by promoting social, verbal, and cognitive development in a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment. Our Teachers Assistants are committed to making their classroom and our school successful and know that creating meaningful relationships with scholars, families, and all members of our professional teaching team play a crucial role in that success.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Substitute Teacher Certificate, an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
2. Previous experience working as a teaching assistant preferred but not required
3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Reporting directly to the School Principal or Assistant Principal, all Teachers are responsible for students in class, anywhere in the building and/ or on School grounds. She/he will confer frequently with grade level colleagues and Cluster Leader.
Benefits include:
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Ten, eleven, or twelve-month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Principal.
