Job Title: Project Manager

Reports to: General Manager

FLSA Status: ý Exempt 

Main Purpose:

The Project Manager is responsible for the execution of multifamily projects.

Core Accountabilities:

• Lead team through project life cycle; planning, budgeting, scheduling, and tracking
• Define task and assign responsibilities
• Lead quality assurance
• Monitor and report on project process
• Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
• Evaluate and assess the result of the project
• Follow up with project superintendents and project managers to ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner
• Communicate with sub-contractors and report on installation process
• Present extensive product knowledge on interior & exterior doors, trim, hardware, and windows for multifamily projects while servicing customer needs
• Respond to customer inquiries including but not limited to: product selection, placement of orders, requests for prices/quotes, complaints, and scheduling of deliveries.
• Avoid or mitigate claims and conflict while providing excellent customer service and follow-up
• Day trip and overnight travel will be required for jobsite visits
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Other duties as assigned

Key Outputs/Results:

The Project Manager shall meet expectations to complete multifamily projects.

Key Relationships:

Works primarily with the Office Manager, Outside Sales, Operations Manager, General Manager, Coordinator

Essential Knowledge:

Basic math skills. Good to excellent computer skills. Computer literate and proficient in MS Office Suite Excellent communication skills Problem solving Project panning Risk management Time management
Conflict resolution

Technical Skills:

2 years’ experience in multifamily building material supply required

Previous experience with multifamily millwork installation for running trim, interior and exterior doors preferred

Excellent understanding of how to build and manage project costs required.

Strong developed skill to identify, track and manage project risk

Strong interpersonal skills developed to engage and retain positive working relationships
