Pay Rate: $80-90/hr

Part-Time - 10hr/week, 5h/day

Experience:

• This position would be highly suitable for someone with previous experience working in a PMO environment looking for an opportunity to use their Project Management expertise to develop best practices moving forwards in an exciting, and innovative environment
• Experience with development and implementation of project/product management approaches required
• Previous experience in the Argicultural Science industry would be preferred but is not required

Responsibilities:

• Act as a sounding board to the Head of the Foundation regarding Sustainable Agriculture change agenda for project, program and portfolio mgmt.
• Provide technical advice on the development of project, program, and, portfolio management approaches, methods and capabilities for the foundation
• Pre-requisites for effective portfolio mgmt. (including the link to strategy and organizational design)
• Portfolio Definition process finalisation, including templates for Portfolio Items
• Portfolio Delivery practices (including Governance; Mgmt Control (Stage Gate and life cycle phase definition; COP, Guidelines, Criteria), Benefits Mgmt, Stakeholder Mgmt)
• Training and development, in particular relating to project and portfolio management and overall foundation capability assessments and people development
• Support the Foundational leadership team to align around new ways of working on portfolio management including seamless alignment with planning and budgeting process, and be an ambassador, coach and change agent for the stream leads and senior leadership team members on the 3PM improvement journey
• Coach and provide advice to project and program managers on implementing agreed improvements
