At Montessori Creative Learning School, we believe education and learning should be engaging, supportive, and lively. Our school is looking for a teacher who has a positive and patient demeanor, who is energetic, flexible, responsible and has a passion for children and early childhood education.

Throughout the day you will be providing love and quality care for the children in order to meet their emotional and physical needs while building a rapport with our students.

We are hiring for the following position:

· Working with two-year-olds

· Full-time: 8:00am to 4:30pm

· Year-round (12-month) position

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Assists in planning, teaching, and implementing the curriculum which includes a variety of techniques such as storytelling, educational play, songs, and fingerplays.

- Interacts with children through instructional methods to include play, music, arts and crafts, reading, writing, science, and physical activities.

- Assists children with their personal hygiene, such as changing diapers and assisting with potty training when necessary.

- Communicates with parents on a regular or as-needed basis through email and in-person meetings.

- Collaborates with other staff members.

- Oversees and facilitates the general safety of the classroom environment.

Requirements:

- Prior work experience with children

- CPR/First Aid (can be obtained upon hire)

- Successful completion of a thorough Criminal Background Check
