Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, childcare, and direct support, ensuring the well-being and comfort of those under their care.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Implement behavior management techniques when needed

Experience:

- Previous experience in senior care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred
- Knowledge of basic caregiving skills including assisting with ADLs
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
- Familiarity with vital sign monitoring and basic medical terminology
- Experience in childcare or working with individuals with special needs is a plus
