We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Director of Aquatics to guide and oversee the total operations of the New Canaan YMCA Aquatics department, both on-site and off-site.

This positions supports the Y in our mission to strengthen community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

The New Canaan YMCA has 3 beautiful indoor pools where we offer lap swim, swim instruction, water aerobics, artistic swim, competitive swim and dive, lifeguard trainings and fun events like "Swim-in Movies"....additionally, our Camp Y-Ki has an outdoor waterfront at Kiwanis Park, and over the summer we provide off-site swim instruction at Waveny Park's Steve Benko pool. The Senior Director of Aquatics will help ensure all programs and support staff are providing quality, safe services to our members and the community at large.

Appllicants must have aquatic leadership experience, as well as current Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification.
