**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate serves as a vital member of the church staff by ensuring an efficient operation of our office environment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist in daily administrative tasks including but not limited to data entry and calendar management. This includes creating programs, announcement slides, sign-in sheets, weekly emails, prayer requests, and other documents as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events for the church and church staff.
- Serves as the frontline for hospitality by answering calls and coordinating contacts.
= Performs general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and filing.
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Supports the team with administrative tasks as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role.
- Proficient in computerized systems and software applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent proofreading skills for written correspondence and documents.
- Experience in event planning is a plus.
