```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies
- Assist healthcare providers with procedures and treatments as needed
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Provide basic patient care, including wound care, dressing changes, and specimen collection
- Assist with patient education by providing information on procedures, medications, and follow-up care
```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in medical assisting preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) procedures
- Familiarity with medical coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD-10)
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
