About the Job:
- We are seeking to hire a Physician Extender (FMG) who will be responsible for assisting with clinical work.
- Seeing follow-ups independently.
- Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including completing paperwork for patients requested by insurance/their work/etc.
- Finishing all clinical notes with accuracy.
- Seeking a highly motivated undergraduate/grad student/medical student/foreign medical grad with experience in healthcare (medicine/neurology/ortho/PM&R preferred).
- Must be comfortable with EMR, have the ability to work as a physician extender, must be comfortable doing disability paperwork, comfortable writing work letters, and processing paperwork.
- Prior experience with taking a medical history, scribing encounters efficiently, and completing medical documentation/paperwork is preferred.
- Experience with Functional Capacity Evaluations preferred.
- Must be legally allowed to work in NYS (e.g. active work visa, or US citizen, etc.)
- The full-time position involves traveling to all locations.
- 845am-6pm, M-Sa, 16-18 days/month.
- Brooklyn Offices (5 days/month).
- Queens Office (3 days/month).
- Bronx office (2 days/month).
- Staten Island Office (2 days/month).
- Manhattan Office (2 days/month).
