Senior IT Analyst (Cyber Security Specialist)
Clearance: **Must have an Active TS/SCI Clearance**
Position Description:
Network Runners, Inc is seeking a Senior IT Analyst (Cyber Security Specialist) to provide IT management support to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD R&E). 
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain IT management oversight for the current footprint (e.g. systems, capabilities, technology). 
• Provide strategy and guidance on the integration of existing communications into a cohesive structured approach and constantly assess new communication technologies and make recommendations as to their impact on the mission. 
• Provide technical and system administration support; support the operations and maintenance aspects of deployed IT capabilities; support the development of new IT capabilities; support the development of system security documentation on both new and previously deployed capabilities.
• Identify risks in office IT systems by working with the appropriate stakeholders to implement a response.
• Interact with customers to include providing desk-side support, training, troubleshooting and advice on IT related issues, as needed.
• In accordance with DoDI 8530.01, provide guidance and monitoring support to government sponsor with regard to cybersecurity protection of the DoD Information Network (IN) (DoDIN) duties including but not limited to:
• Vulnerability assessment and analysis.
• Vulnerability management.
• Malware protection.
• INFOSEC continuous monitoring.
• Cyber incident handling.
• DoDIN user activity monitoring for the DoD Insider Threat Program.
• Warning intelligence and attack sensing and warning 

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in a technical field with at least 10 years of relevant experience, of which at least 5 years must be in relevant IT management support. 
• Strong problem identification/resolution skills, flexibility, initiative, and a proven ability to work with Senior Executives efficiently and effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office to include PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel
• Ability to work in a dynamic government work environment and have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work alone on individual projects while being involved in larger projects as a team effort.
• Familiarity with DoDI 8530.01 
• Familiarity and experience working with Joint Service Provider 
• Experience in project management, operational management, strategy development, systems administration, and/or executive decision support
