Job DescriptionThe Senior System Administrator, operating as the Project Support Lead, is designated as key personnel and plays a critical role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of enterprise-wide infrastructure support services. This individual will be tasked with the oversight of crucial platform services, including server and desktop management, as well as cloud-based services that are pivotal to the organization's IT operations. As a part of the key personnel group, the Senior System Administrator will interact closely with the COR/GTMs to maintain seamless operation of all IT systems, particularly those implemented by EOIR. Ensuring continuity and stability during contract transitions is also a central component of this role. The incumbent will be responsible for adhering to change management processes to mitigate any outages or impacts on EOIR systems management services. Providing timely project reports as required by the GTMs is a significant responsibility expected from this position. This role requires an individual who is adept at managing daily tasks, responding to incidents, and maintaining the overarching health of IT systems.

Requirements:U.S. citizenship is required.Candidate must possess an active Public Trust Clearance.This position is onsite at designated DOJ locations.Qualifications and Experience:Qualifications and ExperienceProven experience as a System Administrator, preferably within an enterprise environment.Strong knowledge and expertise in managing servers, desktop systems, and cloud infrastructures.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a team of IT professionals and government officials.Familiarity with Cisco products and web-based support systems, including WebEx and GoToMeeting (preferred).Experience with Audio/Video teleconferencing and streaming services is advantageous.

Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operation of server, desktop, and cloud-based platform services across the enterprise.Act as the Project Support Lead, interfacing with the COR/GTMs to ensure consistent and reliable IT services.Ensure compliance with existing change management protocols to avoid system outages.Collaborate with other key personnel to maintain the integrity and performance of EOIR's IT systems.Deliver weekly project reports, or as needed, to provide status updates to GTMs.Anticipate and respond to incident reports in a timely and effective manner.Play an integral part in managing transitions and changes within the contract to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
