Job Description: This position is an entry level with a period of performance for 3 months with the possibility of being extended out a few more months. Scan paper personnel files and upload digital copies to specified location (60-75% of job)The majority of the time, the employee will be working alone/independently in an office environment. Respond to ad hoc unemployment claims on behalf of the Company Respond to requests for employee records and files from the Legal department Correspond with HR Business Partners, Security staff and others to gather data and respond to unemployment claims and legal requests Process fitness reimbursement requests made by employees, following standard work Other similar duties as assigned Required Skills: High school diploma or equivalent is required; college degree not required At least 1 year of experience filing, collating, or processing confidential paperwork or similar tasks Ability to follow rigid rules for document handling and confidentiality Professional communication skills Ability to consistently follow standard work and training related to document processing, unemployment claims, legal requests, etc. Ability to work independently with little oversight, following standard work procedures Reliable transportation Desired Skills: *2 or more years of experience filing, collating, or processing confidential paperwork or similar tasks Prior experience in the legal or human resources professions, or in state/local government handling confidential files Proven ability to efficiently process large volumes of paperwork consistently and with high accuracy At least 1 year of prior experience responding to unemployment claims and experience gathering data to respond to legal requests Critical thinking skills; not afraid to ask management for help, if needed Comments for Suppliers: This position is an entry level with a period of performance for 3 months with the possibility of being extended out a few more months.
