Duties: The Sr. Business Analyst works with the company’s software development and technical teams to advise them in the development of business intelligence, metrics, and quantitative analysis that help inform development of NEOGOV’s rich enterprise class SaaS software application related to public sector human resources management software systems. The Sr. Business Analyst will utilize knowledge of sophisticated automation tools, software, scripting languages, and data anlytics tools to execute their business analytical duties including the following:

• Work with the company’s Product Director and technical teams to help advise the designing the product roadmap and suggesting cost-effective solutions based on quantitative data analysis;
• Conduct business analysis of the product roadmap items and come up with the requirements document;
• Build business process diagrams, data flow models and integration workflows for the roadmap initiatives using Microsoft Visio and Lucid Charts;
• Closely monitor the product usage in production using MS SQL Server Management Studio, Tableau, Postman API, and Pendo Product Experience Solutions;
• Act as a Liaison between the product, development, and Quality assurance teams by interpreting data using TestRail;
• Clearly communicate the business operational requirements to the project team including development and quality teams making sure the teams build the right product

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s in Technology, Computer Science, or similar degree and 36-months experience in software development or software QA/testing. 
• Special Requirements: Must have demonstrated proficient knowledge of MS SQL Server Management Studio, Tableau, Postman API, Pendo Product Experience Solutions, and Microsoft Visio and Lucid Charts. Employer will accept special requirements obtained through employment experience and/or academic coursework. Employee is allowed to telecommute from any location in the U.S.
