Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in managing all aspects of construction for existing buildings, particularly in Federal government and mission-critical data center environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies, construction management, and a deep understanding of Federal regulations and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client requirements and Federal guidelines.
    • Lead project kick-off meetings, establishing clear objectives, roles, and responsibilities for project team members.
    • Oversee project execution to ensure adherence to schedule, budget, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  2. Stakeholder Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and government agencies throughout the project life-cycle.
    • Facilitate regular communication and collaboration among project team members, subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  3. Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks and issues impacting project delivery and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
    • Monitor project performance metrics and KPIs, proactively identifying deviations from plan and implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
  4. Financial Management:
    • Prepare and maintain project budgets, tracking expenditures, forecasting costs, and managing change orders as required.
    • Conduct regular financial reviews and provide accurate reporting to senior management and clients on project financial status and performance.
  5. Quality Assurance and Control:
    • Establish and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure that all construction activities meet or exceed Federal standards and client expectations.
    • Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 of experience in project management, with a focus on construction management in Federal government and mission-critical data center environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
