NEMR Total HR is Hiring a Remote Human Resources Generalist (FT)
Responsibilities of the Human Resource Generalist:
- Directly engages client and client employees with questions related to human resource challenges.
- Supports and coordinates HR initiatives related to clients including employee-related trainings, new legal rollouts, handbooks, job descriptions, benchmarking, etc.
- Assists with the development of Human Resources policies for the clients.
- Complies with all existing governmental, labor, legal and reporting requirements.
- Serves as resource for HR policies.
- Travel to clients within the local area – no overnight travel involved for weekly visits.
- Three to five years of HR Generalist experience.
- Direct employee relations experience; with coaching, mentoring, disciplinary actions, investigations, etc.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of federal, state employment laws and regulations related to employment.
- Advanced customer service skills.
- Advanced organizational, administrative record keeping and time management skills.
- Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelors' degree in human resources or related field, preferred.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), preferred.
- This is a full-time hybrid position.
- Monday's and Friday's are remote optional with core, in-office days being Tuesday thru Thursday.
- Work hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday thru Thursday and 8:00am - 4:00pm on Friday.
- Team members have every other Friday off.
