Nelson Miller Group is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS:

  • Entering and confirming orders.
  • Following up with customers via email, phone or mail.
  • Inform customers of estimated delivery schedules, service contracts, warranties or other information pertaining to purchased products.
  • Work closely with production and shipping managing customer shipments and expedites.
  • Entering quotes for engineering to complete.
  • Handling Customer Complaints / RMA’s and investigation.
  • Tracking and controlling sales orders.
  • Sending samples to customers.
  • Cold calling customer leads.
  • Completing open order reports and other various excel spreadsheets.
  • Compiles Job Travelers.
  • Potential customer visits to evaluate needs or to promote product or service sales.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Inside Sales Supervisor.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative, Customer Service and/or Inside Sales role.
  • Manufacturing job shop environment (not mandatory).
  • Reading mechanical and electrical blueprints.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required. Post high school education preferred.
  • ERP / MRP system knowledge
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Power Point, and Word Proficiency(Microsoft Office).

  • Scheduling and managing workflow.
  • Communication - ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from mangers, customers and employees.
  • Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking the time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Service Orientation - Actively looking for ways to help people.
  • Superb listening skills and ability to probe for understanding.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and be flexible to meet changing requirements.
  • Problem solving skills to accurately define, analyze, break down, and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Customer friendly attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
