Job Description
Nelson Engineering is a well-established, aerospace manufacturing company seeking an experienced Final Inspector with AS9102 FAIR experience for our day shift.
Work day hours are 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday – (4 ten hour days). We offer competitive health benefits, 401K, paid holidays and paid personal time.
Position Summary:
This position requires an experienced individual that has the ability to accurately & consistently measure multiple features of machined and fabricated aerospace parts using micrometers, calipers, dial test indicators & height stands, as well as other precision measuring devices & equipment.
This position also works as part of a team to ensure that daily production, quality, and safety goals are met.
Compensation is based on experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
Ability to use basic hand tools for measuring precision machined and fabricated parts.
Ability to proficiently read blue prints.
G,D, & T knowledge.
Eye for detail and proficiency.
Assure and maintain constant, acceptable levels of individual quality and performance.
Maintain a clean organized work area.
Ability to identify problems and offer solutions while working as an active team member.
Ability and willingness to perform tasks as requested by management.
