As a Quality Inspector, you'll have the responsibility of interfacing with customers to resolve day-to-day quality concerns, obtain masking approvals, clarifying production questions, and maintaining quality records.
What you'll do:

• Interface with customers to resolve day-to-day quality concerns, obtain masking approvals and clarify production questions.
• Serve as key point of contact for customers feedback regarding quality. Initiate investigations to address customer's feedback regarding quality. Issue and track customer returns through rework processes as required.
• Maintain quality records such as revision-controlled documents, audit results, training records, and MRB activities.
• Assist with live training program development and scheduling training activities as necessary.
• Initiate corrective actions as necessary, participate in CAB (Corrective Action Board) meetings. Participate in joint evaluations and investigations to access product anomalies and provide root cause analysis. Assist the Quality Manager in providing on-time responses to internal and external CAR requests.
• Work with production team and quality team to resolve or eliminate quality issues.
• Participate in customer and regulatory audits as necessary.
• Support the QMS through internal auditing functions as needed.
• Participate in new process developments and approvals. Collaborate with the production and lab teams on testing parameters required per specifications.
• Lead training of final inspectors.
• Perform inspection duties for incoming and outgoing materials as required.
• Promote and drive "Zero Defects" mentality with the organization.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in chemical processing, inspection, blueprint reading, and specification reading.
• Minimum 5 years of quality assurance experience. Working in new process development is a plus. NADCAP compliance internal auditing is a plus. AS9100 Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
• Degree or equivalent experience (10 years) in business administration, manufacturing or relevant field.
• Excellent communication skills required for working directly with customers and with the Customer Service team.
• Proficiency and knowledge in MS Office tools and ERP systems is required.
• Ability to verify all processes have been performed correctly per drawing/work instructions and specification requirements.
• Ability to resolve discrepancies in work instructions and work constructively in cross functional roles.
• Must be fluent in English
