DUTIES: Calibrations; First Article Inspections; Work in Process Inspections; Interpret blueprints/specifications; Utilize/Operate micrometers, calipers, comparators, and all surface plate inspection equipment.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Machine Shop Experience required. Examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications: read blueprints and specifications; monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards; recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process; inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced; measure products with calipers, gauges, or micrometers; accept or reject finished items; remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications; discuss inspection results with those responsible for products; report inspection and test data; ensure compliance with AS9100 and participate in audits as required.
- 5 years - manufacturing, machine shop (build-to-print job shop with CNC mills/lathes)
- GD&T knowledge required
Shift: M-F, 7:30-4
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
